Another name for Thore was Thora. Thore married Lars Christensen Onstad, son of Christen Iversen Olberg and Marthe Andersdatter Onstad, on 16 Apr 1850 in Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway.1 (Lars Christensen Onstad was born on 20 Feb 1825 in Olberg, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 27 Feb 1825 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in Dec 1860 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: When they married Lars was from the Olberg farm in Askim; Thore was from the Hejer farm. They were both recorded as 25 years old but her baptism record states otherwise... she was born in September 1832 and would have been 17 years old when she married Lars. His father was Christen Olberg and hers was Ole Hejer. Thore next married Karl Kristensen, son of Kristen Gulbrandsen Kjellegård and Tore Amundsdatter Ilen, on 28 Sep 1860 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.2 (Karl Kristensen was born on 30 Jan 1835 in Kjellegård, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was christened on 8 Feb 1835 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: Thore's previous husband, Lars Christensen, died near christmastime 1860. She had already remarried by the time Lars' estate was settled in April 1861. |
