In the census for 1900 she was unmarried and living with her parents on Fjeldbo (husm.plads) in Askim. A note says that she was temporarily living on the Stenbøl farm and that she worked as a "sypige" [tended the pigs?].
Klara married Hans Olsen Stensrud, son of Ole Hansen and Sofie Andreasdatter, on 8 Dec 1907 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Hans Olsen Stensrud was born on 2 May 1880 in Solli, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was christened on 4 Jul 1880 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)
Marriage Notes:
Hans and Klara Marie lived on the Stensrud (u. Øvre Rud) farm in Askim in 1908 when their son Odd Konrad was born. They were living on Vollane in Askim in 1913. 5
