   Another name for Ole was Ole Martin Gutu.

  General Notes:

Ole bought the Gutu søndre farm in Askim.

In the census for 1900 he owned and farmed the Gutu (bnr. 4) farm. He was unmarried. With him were his parents, his sisters Josefine and Karoline Mathea, and a fosterson Bjarne Hansen (born 1894 in Kristiania).

He farmed Gutu when he married in 1906.

Ole married Karoline Kristiansdatter Gutu, daughter of Kristian Paulsen and Anne Andersdatter, on 29 Apr 1906 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Karoline Kristiansdatter Gutu was born on 29 May 1860 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1960.)

  Marriage Notes:

When Karoline and Ole were married the two farms, Gutu østre and Gutu søndre, were mowed together.

After Karoline was widowed she stayed with the farm until 1946, when she sold it for 46 000 kr to Haakon Røed.

Karoline and Ole had a foster son, John Gundersen.
