The census of 1801 shows her as 39 years old.

Marthe married Gunder Aslachsen Lier Nordre, son of Aslach Gudmundsen and Eli Saxesdatter Frøshaug, after 1794. (Gunder Aslachsen Lier Nordre was born in 1744, died in 1804 in nordre Lier, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 4 Mar 1804 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) The cause of his death was convulsions [krampe træk].

  Marriage Notes:

They were on the Lier Søndre farm in Askim in 1801. Gunder was in his second marriage and Marthe was in her first. He was listed as "Bonde og gaardebruger" in the census. His two sons from his previous marriage with Ingeborg, Hans and Christian, were living with Ingeborg's sister Dorte and her husband on the Nord-Skjørten farm. ^{2 3}
