   Another name for Halvor was Halvor Olsen Julsrud.

  General Notes:

Halvor was from Eidsberg. He bought the søndre Ilen, bnr. 3, farm in Askim in 1838 for 1050 spdl. He farmed there until 1858. He sold half the farm in 1842 and the rest in 1858.

Halvor married Sissel Nilsdatter on 11 Nov 1817 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Sissel Nilsdatter was born circa 1777.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married Halvor Olsen Julsrud was 24 years old and Sedsel Nielsdatter Pyth was 40.

They are recorded on the Pyth farm in Eidsberg in February 1821. ¹
