Research Notes: In the census for 1801 she was 38 years old, widowed after her first marriage, and living on the Kraka farm in Eidsberg with her four children. Christine married Mattis Tomassen, son of Tomas Amundsen and Anne Kristensdatter Løken, on 17 Oct 1785 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 2 (Mattis Tomassen was born in 1756 in Måsan u. Store-Rud, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1800 in Kråka, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway.)
