Kristian Fredriksen Enger ^{2 3 4}

Kristian and Maria were cottagers on the Sando farm in Askim in about 1850. Their children, Karl and Karoline, were born there.

Kristian was on the Rudsland farm in 1853, where his mother and sister Fredrikke were the year before.

Kristian was the last known person to farm Langneshytta in Askim. He was there a short while before he moved to the Kløverud farm. He was also on ytre Torp.

Kristian took over the entire Kløverud farm in 1856 and was a cottager there until about 1870. He used a part of the Vrangen farm in 1871.

Kristian married Maria Kristoffersdatter Langeli, daughter of Christopher Torsen and Gunnild Johnsdatter Langelie, on 22 Jun 1849 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Maria Kristoffersdatter Langeli was born on 23 May 1820 in Langelie, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 27 May 1820 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1869.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married Christian was 24½ years old and from the Enger farm in Askim. Maria was 29 and from the Langeli farm. Their best men were Hans and Thorer Torp. ¹
