Nils Paulsen Grini ²

  General Notes:

Nils was from the Grini farm in Trøgstad.

In 1766 he bought half of the Massengen farm in Askim from his father-in-law for 300 rdl. In 1774 he sold it to Syver Olsen Moen for 300 rdl., but he leased the whole farm until 1780.

Nils married Tore Gulbrandsdatter, daughter of Gulbrand Torsen Massengen and Kristense Henriksdatter Hon, on 23 Jan 1766 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Tore Gulbrandsdatter was born in 1737 in Massengen, Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married they were recorded as Niels Poulsøn Grini fra Spydeberg og Thore Guldbrandsdatter Masingen.

When their son Henric was baptised in 1773 they were recorded as Niels og Tore Massingen. ¹
