Sven Sjøllersen Ilen ²

  General Notes:

Sven took over the nordre Ilen (bnr. 6) farm in Askim after his father in 1786 for 210 rdl. In 1815 Sven sold half the farm for 833 rdl. to Sven Iversen Gurud.

Sven married Kirsti Larsdatter Vrangen, daughter of Lars Vrangen and Mette, on 21 Feb 1783 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Kirsti Larsdatter Vrangen was born in 1749 in Vrangen, Sør-Skjolden, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1822.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married they were recorded as Svend Schiolossen nordre Ihlen og Kirsti Larsdatter Langenæs.

Their children died young.

In the census for 1801 they were on the Ihlen Nordre farm in Askim. He was 57 years old and she was 52. They were both in their first marriage. Kirsti's sister Ingebor was living with them. ^{1 3}
