Her first daughter's name suggests that Johanne might be the daughter of Jon Jakobsen, born ca 1764. He was a cottager on the Dovrefjell farm under Nordre Rom in Askim during the 1790's and until about 1803, and was married to Marte Eriksdatter, born ca 1753.. 5


Johanne married Kristoffer Nilsen on 21 Jan 1815 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1
