Other names for Kristoffer were Christopher Nilsen Løken, Christopher Nilsen and Søndre Løken. General Notes: Kristoffer leased the northern half of the Øvre Rud farm in Askim from 1816 until about 1819. In 1831 he bought the Sør-Grøttvet farm in Askim from Andreas Mattiassen for 1300 spdl. and pension [føderåd]. He sold that farm in 1837 to Paul Tollefsen Huer for 2200 spdl. Research Notes: He is possibly the same as Christopher Nielsen, (lensmand), who died on 29 Dec 1847, was buried on 07 Jan 1848, and was from the Løken farm when he died. 6 Noted events in his life were: • He was employed. rural mayor [lensmann] Kristoffer married Johanne Jonsdatter on 21 Jan 1815 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Johanne Jonsdatter was born circa 1793 and died in 1819.) |
