  General Notes:

Mathis received half of the Dæli farm in Askim in 1805, when his father remarried. He bought the other half from his father on 30 July 1821 for 600 spdlr. He was a farmer there for 44 years, until he died in 1865.


Mattis married Anne Marie Christensdatter, daughter of Christen Iversen Olberg and Ragnhild Olsdatter, on 15 Feb 1821 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Anne Marie Christensdatter was born in 1799 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway, died on 21 Jul 1868 in Dæli, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 31 Jul 1868.)


  Marriage Notes:

When they married Mathis Olsen Dæhli was 26 years old and Anne Maria Christensdatter was 21.

In March 1822 they were recorded as Mathias Olsen og Anne Marie Christensdatter Dæhli. They were on Dehli in Askim in December 1832 and in February 1834. 1
