When they married they were recorded as Lars Johannesen Eeg og Kari Pedersdatter Huer.

In 1801 they were cottagers on the Kvakkestad farm in Askim. Lars was 45 and Kari was 44 years old. They were both in their first marriage. Their three children were with them: Pernille was 15, Povel was 13, and Johannes was 10 years old. 1 4
