   Another name for Jens was Jens Andersen Halstvedt.

He was 10 years old in the 1801 census.

Jens farmed the eastern part of Halstvet in Askim from the time of the farm's division in 1812 until 1848. In 1848 he sold the farm to Karl Johan Kristensen for 2250 spdl.

In 1865 he was 73 years old and a blacksmith at the Halsvet farm.


Jens married Helene Andreasdatter.
