"I 1855 ledet Aslak Villemsen byggingen av et brennevinsbrenneri i Stange på Hedmarken og ble den første brenneribestyrer der. Han bodde på nordre Atlungstad."

  Research Notes:

In the census for 1900 Aslak was a widow. He owned and lived on the Prinsdal (nedre) farm in Aker, Akershus. He had two of his children with him, both unmarried: Johan and Sofhie. There were also four farm helpers with them. 3

  Noted events in his life were:

• He was a farmowner [Gaardeier] in 1900 in Prinsdal (nedre), Aker, Akershus, Noway.


Aslak married Marie Hansdatter. (Marie Hansdatter was born circa 1827 in Aker, Akershus, Norway and died before 1901.)


  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1865 they farmed the Prinsdal nedre farm in Østre Aker, Akershus. They had four sons and three daughters with them. Their 9 year old daughter, Julie, was born in Stange indicating that the family lived there in about 1857. 4
