Karen married Hans Kristiansen Dallerud, son of Kristian Larsen Dallerud and Ragnhild Halvorsdatter Rom, on 10 Apr 1862 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Hans Kristiansen Dallerud was born on 26 Dec 1830 in Dallerud, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 9 Jan 1831 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1918.)


  Marriage Notes:

In 1865 they were cottagers on part of Dallerud. Hans was 36 and Karen was 25 years old. Their daughter Johanne was 3.

In the census for 1900 they were on the Heier farm in Askim. Their son Karl was with them, going to school. 5 6
