  General Notes:

At the end of the 1780's Peder took over the Nordre Enger farm in Askim after his parents. Peder leased the Revaug farm (bruk 1) in Askim 1790-94. He then moved to Gjellestadholen as a cottager (1794-96) and later to Nordli u. Oraug where he was a cottager from the middle of the 1790's until a little into the 1800's.


Peder married Dorte Torvaldsdatter Gjellestad, daughter of Torvald Pedersen Løken and Anne Rasmusdatter Gjellestad, on 18 Oct 1787 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Dorte Torvaldsdatter Gjellestad was born in 1768.)


  Marriage Notes:

When they married they were recorded as Peder Jacobsen Revog og pige Dorthe Thorvaldsdatter Giellestad.

The family is listed as cottagers on the Oraug farm in 1801. He was 40 and she was 33 years old, both in their first marriage. They had just three children with them: Thor (7), Lars (4), and Jacob (2). 1 3
