They were living on Volden in Askim in March 1915 and in November 1916.

The family was on the nordre Laholmen farm in Askim in 1917. In 1920 the family bought the buildings on the place and secured the neighbouring property, Fjellklang feste nr. 9. In 1930 a new domestic building was built. In 1942 the son, Håkon Johansen took over the place. 4 5
