Another name for Johannes was Nord Grottvet. Johannes married Ragnhild Gudmundsdatter on 30 Oct 1797 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 Marriage Notes: In 1801 they were cottagers on the Skavogg farm in Askim. He was 26 years old and in his first marriage. She was 36 and in her second. Her two children from her first marriage were with them: Halvor Nielsen (10) and Marthe Nielsdatter (8).
