When her son Lars was christened in August 1910, her year of birth was recorded as 1871. It was recorded as 19/10 81 when she married and her father was identified as Anton Andersen. At her baptism her parents were recorded as Anton Andersen Hobbelhagen (1848) og Maren Sofie Pettersdatter (1850).


Ragna married Hans Jakob Larsen Torp, son of Lars Jakobsen Torp and Helene Hansdatter, on 4 May 1900 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Hans Jakob Larsen Torp was born on 13 Aug 1864 in Torp, Askim, Østfold, Norway,7 8 died on 16 Mar 1949 and was buried in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1900 they owned and farmed part of the Store Torp farm in Askim. They had two sons with them: Ole Ludvig from Hans' first marriage, and Helge, born 25.06.1900. Hans' daughter from his first marriage, Marie Hansine, was being fostered by his siblings and mother on the other part of Store Torp.

They were living on Torp øvre in Askim in August 1910 and in March 1913. 3 4 9
