Research Notes: In the census for 1801 Iver Thorersen was 22 years old, unmarried, and living with his parents and siblings on the Fossum farm in Spydeberg. Medical Notes: He was 77½ years old when he died. Iver married Maria Gulbrandsdatter, daughter of Gulbrand Olsen and Mari Gudmundsdatter, on 28 Nov 1848 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Maria Gulbrandsdatter was born in 1781 in Haugen, Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 17 Jun 1859 in Løken Søndre, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 24 Jun 1859.)
