Ludvig married Johanne Mathea Kristensdatter, daughter of Christen Wilhelmsen Høie and Sofie Syversdatter. (Johanne Mathea Kristensdatter was born in 1874 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway and died in 1958.)
