Marriage Notes:
In 1900 Johan and Marthe owned and farmed the Aas med Bakker farm in Eidsberg. They had six children with them: Johanne, Ole, Hans, Syver, Margit, and Johannes. Kristian must have died previously.
From Ole Johan Bakker:
"I am now the owner of the Bakker farm, which was a part of the Aas farm up til late 1800's. When I restored the main building in 1994, I found the year 1894 on a timber wall in the living room. It was probably the year my great grandfather Johan Hendrik Bakker took over the farm and restored the same building." 3 4
