Other names for Arne were Arne Sekkelsten and Arne Sikkilsten. General Notes: Arne lived in Råde before he went back to his father's farm, Enga in Askim, in 1880. In 1883 he bought Enga for 2800 kr. Before the turn of the century Arne sold the farm. Noted events in his life were: • He was a railway foreman [baneformann] with NSB. Arne married Anette Sofie Nilsdatter. (Anette Sofie Nilsdatter was born in 1853 in Råde, Østfold, Norway and died in 1932.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1900 Arne and Annette Sikkilsten lived on the Støheim farm in Lille-Elvedalens, Hedmark. They had 3 daughters and 4 sons with them. Nora was unmarried and living in Oslo. |
