Thea married Ole Kjos, son of Amund Olsen Kjos søndre and Marthe Nielsdatter. (Ole Kjos was born on 21 Dec 1837 in Ullensaker, Akershus, Norway and was christened on 1 Jan 1838 in Hovind, Spydeberg, Norway.)

In the census for 1865 they lived on the Kværner Brug farm in Østre Aker, Akershus. They had their son Alfred Magnus with them.

In the census for 1900 they lived at Munkedamsveien 25 in Kristiania. They had two unmarried daughters with them: Marie and Valborg. There was also with them Nils Kjos, unmarried and born in 1865. ^{2 4}
