Hun blev som tidligere nevnt adoptert av sin tante og onkel på Ski i Røyken og har således antatt sine adoptivforeldres efternavn. For en tid siden kjøpte hun et lite sted ved Konglungen i Asker og driver havebruk. She was unmarried as of the early 1930's.

Adopted by Mina, who was her natural mother's (Olava's) sister. She was not listed with her natural parents and siblings in the census for 1900. She was living with her adoptive parents, Kristian and Mina Ski, on the Ski farm in Røken, Buskerud.
