General Notes:
In 1755 Gudmund bought the Tovengen farm in Askim for 240 rdl. His parents had previously owned the farm, as had his mother's parents and grandparents before. Gudmund sold half the farm in 1755 but bought it back in 1764 and ran the whole farm until 1774.
In 1774 he sold half the farm to his son Lars and in 1778 Gudmund sold the other half to his son Tomas.
Gudmund married Kristense Tomasdatter Skjolden on 14 Nov 1745 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Kristense Tomasdatter Skjolden was born circa 1721 and died in 1778.)
