General Notes:
Ellef took over the Gurud farm in Askim after his father. In 1718 his mother had moved from the farm. Ellef farmed the entire Gurud farm 1712 - 1729. He farmed the southern part of nedre Gurud from 1729 until the end of the 1740's. He then sold it for 142 rdl. to his son-in-law Jon Nilsen and moved himself to Hagan, a part of the Gurud farm, and lived there until he died.

When he died he was recorded as 82 years and 2 months old.
Ellef married Guro Kjøstelsdatter. (Guro Kjøstelsdatter died in 1721.)
Ellef next married Ingeborg after 1721.
