  General Notes:

Halvor Hansen farmed the Stubberud farm in Askim from the end of the 1780's until a bit into the 1800's and was possibly the last cottager on Stubberud.

We find the family later on the Vestereng (under Oraug) farm where Halvor and Ragnhild were cottagers when their children Bolette and Johannes were confirmed in 1814 and 1818. Their daughter Maria had a daughter, Anne, here in 1819 with Vilhelm Aslaksen Skjolden.

Both Halvor and Ragnhild died on the Vestereng farm in 1829. They were the last known to farm Vestereng.

When he married in 1779 he was recorded as Halvor Hansen Boesleth. ¹

He was recorded as 77 years old when he died. His year of birth would then be ca 1752.

Halvor married Ragnhild Johannesdatter on 3 Jun 1779 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Ragnhild Johannesdatter was born circa 1763, died on 5 Sep 1829 in Vestereng, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 12 Sep 1829 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)
