Another name for Bolette was Bolethe. General Notes: In the census for 1865 Bolethe Olsdatter was 30 years old, married and liviing with her husband and 3 children on the Sundet farm in Spydeberg. Her mother, Marie Halvorsdatter, was also living with them. 2 Research Notes: In the census for 1900 there was a Bolette Olsen, born in Askim in 1837, who owned the Hyllibraaten farm in Spydeberg. This might be the same person. She was a widow and had two unmarried daughters with her, both born in Spydeberg: Anna, born in 1877; and Magna, born in 1879. There was also a fosterdaughter with them, Elise Marie Olsen, born in Spydeberg in 1896. 3 Bolette married Ole P. Pedersen. (Ole P. Pedersen was born circa 1832 in Skiptvet, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: Ole and Bolethe were living on the Sundet farm in Spydeberg in 1865. They had a daughter and 2 sons with them then, as well as Bolethe's widowed mother. 2 |
