The record of her death shows her year of birth as 1859 and at Heli (Spydeberg).
No record of her birth can be found in Askim or Spydeberg in 1859 or in 1860.

Karoline married Gunerius Gundersen Katralen, son of Gunder Larsen Katralen and Anne Andreasdatter Mellegård. (Gunerius Gundersen Katralen was born in 1856 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway 5 and died in 1942.)
Marriage Notes:
In the census for 1900 they owned and farmed the Galtebu farm in Askim. They had six of their children with them: Henrik, Marie, Anna, Thea, Helga, and Magna. The children were all listed with the last name "Guneriusen". That year their eldest child, Gina, was on Riseng (bnr. 1) caring for the animals for Anders Johannesen and family. Their son Johannes was on the Vammeli farm working for Hans Paulsen. 5
