Ole Kristiansen ²

  General Notes:

Ole was probably the last to live on the Liverud farm in Askim. He moved there in the end of the 1820's and lived there until he died in 1875. He had before lived on Berger, Busterud u. Tømmerås, Frøhol and Byfram u. Guderud.

  Research Notes:

He might be the same Ole Christiansen, born ca 1792, who was the son of Christian Tøgersen and Anne Olsdatter. There was no other person of about his age with this name in the 1801 census for Askim. Also, Christian Tøgersen's father was from Rødenes. ⁴

• He was a town watchman [bygdevekter] in 1838 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.

• He was a mail carrier [postbærer] in Askim, Østfold, Norway.

Ole married Anne Svendsdatter Gram, daughter of Sven Valentinsen Gram and Gunhild Jakobsdatter Huer, on 19 Feb 1818 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Anne Svendsdatter Gram was born in 1792 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 23 Sep 1792 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 3 Aug 1861 in Liverud, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 10 Aug 1861.)

  Marriage Notes:

Their marriage record shows Ole as 25 years old and Anne as 24.

In December 1833 they were living on a Sekkelsten plads in Askim. ¹
