Ingemund Thorersen ²

   Another name for Ingemund was lille Mørkvet.

  General Notes:

Ingemund received ¼ of the Lille Mørkved farm in Askim when his mother died. His step-father, Ole Andersen, received the other ¾.

  Research Notes:

His year of birth is unclear. It is recorded that in the census of 1801 he was 3 years old. This would establish ca 1798 as his birth year. However it is also recorded that he was 43 years old when he died in 1831. This would establish ca 1788 as his year of birth. Finally, it is recorded that he was 22 years old when he married in January 1818. I take ca 1798 as his birth year.

Ingemund married Marthe Erichsdatter on 19 Jan 1818 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Marthe Erichsdatter was born circa 1791 and died in 1834.) The cause of her death was giving birth [barselseng].

  Marriage Notes:

Marthe was 26 and Ingemund was 22 years old when they married. They had 4 children, 2 sons both named Christian, and daughters Karen and Maria.
