Research Notes: Her year of birth is also recorded as 1850, possibly the year that she was christened. 3 Karen married Hans Kristian Johannesen, son of Johannes Gundersen and Unknown, on 30 Dec 1872 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Hans Kristian Johannesen was born on 22 Nov 1849 in Bøltorp, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: Hans Kristian Johannesen is named as a farmer on the Stenbøl farm, Askim, in 1874, when his son Johan Anton was born. He and his family lived on the Skjønhaug, Glomvik, farm in Askim from about 1880 until they [he] moved to Kristiania in 1893. |
