When Olava was baptised her parents were recorded as Helene Hansdatter Gurud and Valentin Jensen Blukeslett. They were unmarried at that time.

Olava got the deed to the Fjellstad farm in 1844(?) for 800 kr. She served Ole Olsen Netthaug.

In 1865 she was a 27 year old servant for Ole Olsen on Netthaug. ⁴

She was an impoverished widow when she died.

Olava married Vilhelm Amundsen, son of Amund Pedersen and Elen K. Vilhelmsdatter. (Vilhelm Amundsen was born on 27 Aug 1830 in Giltvedt, Spydeberg, Østfold, Norway ^{5 6} and was christened on 12 Sep 1830 in Spydeberg church, Spydeberg, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1900 they were cottagers on the Hauger søndre farm in Spydeberg. ⁶
