Another name for Anders was Anders Netthaug. General Notes: He was from Kirkerud in Spydeberg and took over the Netthaug farm in Askim during the 1880's after living on part of the øvre Rud farm. Research Notes: The census for 1900 lists him as born in Tomter, Smaalenene, in 1825. Noted events in his life were: • He was a "rivemaker" [flour maker?]. Anders married Elen Johannesdatter. (Elen Johannesdatter died in 1879.) Anders next married Inger Marie Kristiansdatter Rom, daughter of Kristian Paulsen Torp and Maren Paulsdatter Rom, on 28 Dec 1877 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Inger Marie Kristiansdatter Rom was born on 23 Apr 1838 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and was christened on 6 May 1838 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1900 they lived on the Rom nordre (bnr.1) farm in Askim, managed by her brother Anton Kristiansen. No children are listed. Their two sons were living in Oslo (Kristiania) by that time. 3 Anders next married. |
