Arne married Johanne Knutsdatter, daughter of Knut Mattiassen and Ingeborg Andersdatter, on 11 Jul 1799 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Johanne Knutsdatter was born in 1777.) Marriage Notes: In 1801 Arne and Johanne were farming on part of the Lund farm in Trøgstad. He was 33 years old and in his second marriage. She was 24 and in her first.
