Noted events in his life were: • He was an acting sheriff and farmer [Konstitueret lensmand og gaardbeboer] in 1801 in Tveter Mellem, Skiptvet, Østfold, Norway. Arne married Ane Arnesdatter. (Ane Arnesdatter was born circa 1768.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1801 Arne and Ane lived on the Tveter Mellem farm in Skiptvet. They had two fosterdaughters with them: Anikken Arnesdatter, 9 years old; and Inger Torkildsdatter, 4. No natural children were listed. 1 |
