Willum married Sidsel Marie Andersdatter Haugsten, daughter of Anders Torsen Holøs and Elen Karine Rasmusdatter Bech, on 3 Jul 1792.¹ (Sidsel Marie Andersdatter Haugsten was born in 1755, christened on 20 Apr 1755, died in 1810 and was buried on 10 Oct 1810.)

In the census for 1801 they were living on and farming the Hielmark farm in Eidsberg. He was in his first marriage and she was in her second. They had her three children from her first marriage with them. ²
