  General Notes:

On 12 March 1798 Halvor bought his parents' farm, Frøhol, in Askim from his widowed mother and his siblings for 440 rdl.

In 1801 he was 35 years old and unmarried. His sister Johanne and his mother were living on the farm with him.

  Medical Notes:

It was recorded that he was 60 years old when he died in 1827. This would make his year of birth ca 1767.


Halvor married Ragnhild Svendsdatter Hobøl on 8 Mar 1802 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Ragnhild Svendsdatter Hobøl was born circa 1781 and died early 1840's.)
