The census for 1801 shows his age as 49, not his birthyear. If this is accurate, he was born ca 1752. 2


Kristen married Gunhild Svendsdatter, daughter of Svend Villumsen and Tore Torersdatter. (Gunhild Svendsdatter was born in 1753 and died in 1815.)


  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1801 Christen and Gunild owned and farmed the Høye Søndre farm in Eidsberg. They were both in their first marriage and had five children with them. 2
