His father's name was probably Giert because his oldest son was named Giert and the name is repeated in the family line.

In 1658 Iffuer was one of four farmers on the Eek farm in Askim, along with his son, Neri, as well as Trøg and Israel. He farmed there until about 1690.


Iffuer married.
