Kirsti Knutsdatter 1
Other names for Kirsti were Kirsti Knudsdatter Eiebach and Roa. General Notes: Kirsti was from the Roa u. Slengebråte farm in Askim when she married. Research Notes: There is a record in Askim of a Kirsti Knudsdatter baptised on 09 Nov 1776, the daughter of Knud Siøfarsøn and Goroe Pedersdatter who were not married. This is probably the same Kirsti. Medical Notes: When she died her age was recorded as 41 years 4 months and 3 weeks. Kirsti married Syver Smedsen, son of Smed Eriksen Eiebakke and Gunbjør Syversdatter, on 5 Jan 1802 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Syver Smedsen was born in 1749, died in 1808 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 20 Mar 1808 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: With the division of inheritance after Syver, in 1808 half of the nordre Eiebakke farm was disbursed to his widow Kirsti for 1200 rdl. In 1810 Syver's children transferred the other half of the farm to Kirsti for 198 rdl. Kirsti remarried in 1812. Kirsti next married Erik Bergersen Lunder on 1 Nov 1810 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 Marriage Notes: Erik was a widower when he married Kirsti Knutsdatter. The year of their marriage is also, incorrectly, recorded as 1812. |
