Guro Sjøfarsdatter Kastdalen
Another name for Guro was Goroe. General Notes: She was from the Kastdalen vestre farm in Askim. Research Notes: She must have died before 1801 since her husband was widowed (unmarried) then. 3 Guro married Jakob Larsen Vrangen on 11 Nov 1751 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Jakob Larsen Vrangen was born circa 1719.) Marriage Notes: Jakob and Guro farmed the Vrangen farm in Askim during the early 1750's. They farmed on Kastdalen østre until 1765 when they bought the nordre Enger farm for 120 rdl. |
