Other names for Sjøller were Skjøller Svendsen and Schiøller Svendsøn. General Notes: In 1749 Sjøller bought the nordre Ilen bnr. 6 farm in Askim for 130 rdl. Medical Notes: He was 74 years old when he died. Sjøller married Ambjørg Jensdatter, daughter of Jens Villemsen Oraug and Maren Syversdatter Oraug, on 17 Oct 1743 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Ambjørg Jensdatter was born circa Feb 1713 and died on 19 Apr 1789 in nordre Ilen, Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: Sjøller and Ambjørg were cottagers on the Østby (under Sør-Skjolden) farm in Askim near the end of the 1740's before moving to the nordre Ilen farm. |
