Another name for Andreas was Hoel. General Notes: In 1881 the ytre (nedre) Hol farm was taken over by Andreas Andersen. He had worked the Tykerud (u. Hjelmark) farm in Eidsberg from 1848 until 1880. They lived for a while on the Eiebakke farm before moving to Hol. Research Notes: In the census for 1900 he was widowed and living with his son Johannes on one (bnr. 1) of the Eiebakke farms in Askim. Andreas married Marte Larsdatter, daughter of Lars Hansen Hol and Anne Jonsdatter Grøttvet nordre. (Marte Larsdatter was born on 26 Jun 1821 in Katralen, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 1 Jul 1821 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 13 Dec 1890 in Ytre Hoel, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 23 Dec 1890 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1865 they were cottagers with land on the Tykerud farm in Eidsberg. They had four daughters with them: Anne Sophie, Johanne Maria, Lena, and Maren Lovise. 4 |
