When she died her birthplace was recorded as Eiebakke in Askim.

Marte married Andreas Andersen Hol. (Andreas Andersen Hol was born in 1819 in Kristiania, Norway and died on 3 Dec 1900.)

In the census for 1865 they were cottagers with land on the Tykerud farm in Eidsberg. They had four daughters with them: Anne Sophie, Johanne Maria, Lena, and Maren Lovise. ⁵
