Another name for Johannes was Auten. Medical Notes: When he died his age was recorded as 44 years 5 months 2 weeks and 3 days. Johannes married Sigri Hansdatter, daughter of Hans Amundsen and Ragnhild Nilsdatter Olberg, on 14 Apr 1788 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Sigri Hansdatter was born in 1763 in Auten, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1841.) Marriage Notes: In 1801 the family was on the Auten farm in Askim. Johannes was 40 and Sigri was 38 years old. It was his first marriage and her second.
