   Another name for Christian was Kristian Theodorsen Østby.

  General Notes:

In the census for 1900 he was unmarried and living with his parents and sister on the Ringstad nordre nordre farm in Trøgstad. He was doing farmwork.

In about 1918 Christian bought the Fredheim farm (of the Henstad farm in Askim) for 26 000 kr. He sold it for 29 000 kr. in 1925 and move to the Nord-Grøttvet farm (bnr. 3 and 2) which he had bought for 57 000 kr. He sold that farm in 1933.


Christian married Sofie Lund. (Sofie Lund was born in 1882 and died in 1962.)
