   Another name for Mattis was Mathis Hansøn Søndre Rom.

  General Notes:

Mattis took over the Blunkeslett farm in 1769. He and his family were previously on the Tornerud and Sekkelsten farms. Mattis used Blunkeslett until he died in 1772.

Mattis married Margrete Torersdatter, daughter of Torer Hågensen Revaug and Johanne Johannesdatter, on 3 Jan 1748 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Margrete Torersdatter was born circa 1728, died in 1790 in Blunkeslett, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 5 Dec 1790 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)
